LEGS OF A LEOPARD

A few months ago, I left my camera at a jewellery event and have only just got it back. There was several outfit posts stored on the memory card so I am delighted to have it back, especially since so many of the pictures I have taken recenlty have been so heinous. I don't know what happens to my face, it just goes into automatic goofy mode as soon as the camera flashes. Teeth out, gormless expression and camera flash - it causes much amusement to my boyfriend!

Anyway, sorry I have been a poor blogger this week, I have been watching quite a bit of the Commonwealth Games and I have to say the coverage has been dreadful. The sports are great, so why is there so much talking? There is several sports going on at anyone time, I should never have to be bored by dreadful discussions about a race or match I have just watched, or a yawn-inducing explanation on how the medals were made.

When it gets too much, Netflix comes to my rescue - I'm all about this new anime show called 'Knights of Sidonia'. Like most anime it is the weirdest thing ever and totally compelling - humans photosynthesise, some don't have a gender and there are crazy monsters (obviously) all over space.

So back to the clothes, I bought this skirt a few months ago in H&M for just £5.99, bargain right? It is mostly sheer, but with a little modesty skirt underneath. I didn't have the confidence to wear it with bare legs as they look rather awful, and God that shaving thing is annoying isnt it? So I teamed it with some subtle leopard print tights, my favourite vest and some spiked boots.

Have you guys been watching any Commonwealth action, who are you rooting for?

  2. Those tights are great! Love, love love them! Whenever I take pictures of myself I have the same problem haha, I just sit there making silly faces, I don't know why that is, but that's what I do, haha ;) I hate when there's so much talk during sports haha, it can get so annoying, really!

  3. Glad you've got your camera back!

We've been watching some of the Commonwealth Games. My youngest is rooting for England and The Seychelles (only because he had to draw the Seychelles flag for his homework a while ago).

My eldest has been watching Knights of Sidonia, I don't know if he's enjoying it but he was chatting to my husband about it.

  5. Such a cute skirt and loving that you paired it with those leggings. So cute!! Glad you got your camera back girl! We just heard about someone who left their incredibly expensive camera at a restaurant, came back 20 mins later, and it was gone. So lucky that didn't happen to you :)

  6. It must be so great to finally have your camera back. Love what you are wearing and what a fun top. I have been watching so much of the commonwealth games but mainly the swimming, I never miss a second of it. So lucky I can get it online otherwise I’d be getting up in the middle of the night for all the finals. I used to do competitive swimming myself for so many years so that’s why I have such an interest in it, it was a huge part of my life a long time ago.

  7. I have no idea what these Commonwealth games are :D Had to google them! Hmm Knights of Sidonia sound promising, gotta bookmark them! And love the way you mixed in the leopard print, it makes the whole outfit much more interesting and cool looking! ^^

  8. This skirt is a beauty! I love a sheer maxi, makes such a nice transition to summer and you can rock it all year round too :) Maxis are always my go-to in the summer; definitely a life saver in the ugly face of shaving haha ;)

I tuned in the other week to the commonwealth games and Rod Stewart poncing about with that plant pot haircut was enough to make me switch off, when's he going to give it up haha! :| I agree, the commentary is always so dull and totally off-putting when you're trying to watch!
