FORGOTTEN OUTFITS OF THE DAY - PART 1

I bet every fashion blogger who reads this post (thanks for stopping by, why don't I see you more often, too good for me now are you?) will have a number of outfit shoots stored away in the hard drives of their computer, destined never to see the light of day, because you just don't think they are good enough. Is that food on my face? When did that happen to my hair? I should have checked my skirt wasn't tucked into my knickers when I left the bathroom.

I have so many of these, but I didn't want to see them go to waste - you're not allowed to waste things these days, it's against the law or something. Soon we will have campaign groups protesting for the forgotten and neglected photographs, rotting away within cameras and computers, just desperate for some love. So at the risk of embarrassing myself and showing you all how crypt keeper-ish I can look when the light hits me wrong, here are some neglected outfit posts...

Wearing sunglasses so large they are almost a comedy novelty and indoors as well, oh Gemma no!
Dress, H&M
Bag, Primark
Necklace, Punky Pins
I seem to recall rejecting these pictures as I though it looked like I had huge clown feet!
Shirt, H&M
Jeans, Dorothy Perkins
Trainers, Converse
I like everything about this except the jeans, why is the crotch so low? Like seriously!
Shirt, Warehouse.
Jeans, H&M

Loafers Matalan
A top way so see through that your little pot belly is visible - nice job Gemma.
T-Shirt - Primark

Skirt - Discount Store
Drag queen-esque make-up and goofy teeth on show, not the best in beauty!
Top, Primark
Denim Shorts, H&M

I thought this outfit was too boring, but it is my classic everyday style so I feel bad for ignoring it, a little dishonest even.
Shirt, H&M
Jeans, Primark
I was in a blogging funk when these pictures were taken, they never made it out!
Dress, H&M
Creepers, Tribecca Shoes
There are even more forgotten outfits to come, I am so neglectful of my poor pictures. I would love to see some similar posts from fellow fashion bloggers, so find some love for those lost photos an leave me the link.

  1. I really LOVE this post but for different reasons than I probably should haha! You look lovely in all of them but also, it is a real life post - it reminds people that pictures/outfits aren't perfect everyday. I'd rather see a blogger like you, rather than read about how 'perfect' everything is! This really made me smile :) xx

    1. Thanks Sam, you're always so sweet to me and you are one of my biggest blogging inspirations because your honest about things - not everything is perfect and you don't shy away from that. I love that bout you.

  2. This is such a fab idea! I think a lot (if not all) of these pictures are totally lovely and I definitely wouldn't have noticed anything wrong with them. Saying that I've seen posts before where the blogger has mentioned a fault with the pictures and I wouldn't have noticed had it not been pointed out, so I think a post like this is so vital as it shows we all have photos stored away that we don't like but perhaps to others they are not so bad after all!

Very encouraging for all of us I think, to have a root around and unleash forgotten pictures, and as I said before, what a fab post!

    1. Thanks Sophie, I guess we are all way more critical on ourselves than other people are, and since I'm not the most confident, I'm really harsh on myself. If you do unleash those rejected pictures, send me a link, because I love your personal style, so I'm guessing I will love them - the off the shoulder top with maxi skirt is a look I'm totally stealing :)

  3. I take far fewer outfit photos than I used to so this doesn't really happen now...I used to forever be finding forgotten outfits though! x

    1. I do love your outfit posts in the garden, I wish I had a garden space for pictures, the closest I have is a yard that stores the wheelie bins :)

  5. Each and everyone of these photos is stunning hun, its only ever yourself that hates them. I know as I have exactly the same thoughts about my photos.

Even if I think my outfits are boring I post them as its what I am wearing and true to life. Never be afraid to be who you are, as you are fabulous.

  9. Darn, the see through top is fabulous! :P I have stored like thousands of photos on my hard drive, that not only would never see daylight, but I'll probably never see, because I forgot they exist :D

  10. It is always good to see outfits that other bloggers have stored away! I must see if I have any on my computer. My favourites are the first and third because I adore the prints. Thank you so much for your comment on my recent post. I was amazed by the support and your comment really stood out to me because I know you can relate to me and understand. That helps so much and makes me feel less alone. I hope we can support each other.
