WINTER STYLE WRAPPED UP

It's been a few days, I know, but I have been busy since I have picked up a couple of new writing contracts, one of which is writing about my first love...science. It has been hard getting back to the scientific style of writing after so much writing about fashion, but I am learning new things again, which is so exciting. Sometimes the hard work really is worth it.

It was the funeral of my boyfriend's grandmother yesterday and it may seem like a strange thing to say, but it was a lovely day. His mum gave a great speech about her that had everyone smiling and laughing on such a sad occasion, I was so proud to have been invited into such a wonderful family.

So that is my news, back onto the fashion. This is representing my winter style at the moment - yes it's cold, but I still want to look in the mirror and think, 'yeah, she's got the look', as opposed to 'there's a Gemma under all that frump'.

Well that is my news, what is yours?

  3. I always hope that funerals can be more of a celebration of the person's life as opposed to a sombre affair.
