JOULES DESIGN A WELLY COMPETITION

I've fancied myself as a bit of a fashion designer many times, not all of them successful. There was the time I bleached my jeans and smelled like a toilet for a week, or the time I turned my denim jacket into a vest and looked like George Michael, circa 1989. But I still think I will be having a go at the competition from Joules to design their own pair of the iconic Joules wellies. The winner will get their design put into production....yes actual production, to buy on the website (www.joules.com/)...with all the proceeds going to CHARITABLY JOULES. A great little competition for a great cause.

But doing good for mankind, is not the only incentive to enter. The winner will win a £5000 luxury forest holiday for 3 days in a golden oak treehouse (imagine all the luxury £5000 will get you...oh my). Ten runners up will receice a £250 joules gift card...amazing!!


Now where are my coloured pencils, and where are my wellies and the nearest puddle for inspiration...

Yes, it has arrived, the competition I have been promising you guys, for all your continued support. It still surprises me that people still stop by and say nice things to me. It has really helped boost my confidence over the years, and as a result helped me cope with my issues with mental health. That feeling of isolation totally disappears when you realise how many others are going through similar things. It has been a real privilage to me to reach out to some of these people and the gratitude I feel can never be repaid.

BIRTHDAY GIVEAWAY - DOROTHY PERKINS CLUTCH AND NECKLACE

It was my birthday yesterday - I turned 31 and I honestly don't know how that happened, I was 19 just yesterday, I'm sure of it - and I was really spoiled, especially by the boyfriend, who took me on a shopping spree and even bought me a couple of things to giveaway on my blog. Did I hit the jackpot or what? And he is younger (not much younger at 29, but I am still counting him as my delicious toy boy).

Amongst the lovely things he bought me that day, included a lovely smock dress from the Dorothy Perkins that was a bargain £7 in the sale. Whilst in there I saw a lovely clutch bag and thought it would be great as a giveaway to my readers because it was a gorgeous colour and perfect for summer. ELEGANT TOUCH EXPRESS GIVEAWAY

I can't thank Elegant Touch enough for what they have done for me recently - since I have discovered them I have become a total false nail convert. I am currently rocking the House of Holland Block Head nails and I just totally love them - I was a Lego fiend when I was a kid, so everytime I look at my nails, I feel a rush of childish glee.

Falsies are so great because you have an outrageous manicure in minutes that will never chip and last you a good seven days - it's like a mani miracle.
