FOR THE GLAMOROUS

I have to start by saying a huge thank you for all the messages of support on my last blog post - it really was quite overwhelming to know that so many lovely girls are there for me, like the friends I thought I had werent. But, it did make me sad that so many wonderful people had experienced something similar their lives, and if it brought up painful memories, I really am sorry. If any of you need anyone to rant to, I am only an email away.

In the future, I do plan to talk about all my battles with mental illness and all that comes with it in the hopes that both myself and others can stop feeling so ashamed and isolated. But, today I thought maybe I would just keep it light and show lots of pretty pictures of my fabulous new Glamorous jumpsuit that I got for a steal on eBay and it was brand new with the tags.

Strappy Jumpsuit, Glamorous - Same Here.
Floral Biker Jacket, QED London @ TKMaxx - Same Here.
Block Heels, Primark - In Stores Now.
Gold Skinny Belt, H&M - Similar Here.
Mirror Bar Necklace, Punky Pins - Same Here.
When it arrived I was nervous that I wasn't going to get it over my ample bum - I did buy one from H&M without trying it on and I pretty much got stuck in it, I did fear I was going to be forced to wear it forever. That jumpsuit has since met the sewing machine and been transformed into trousers and a crop top, once I was pryed out of it of course.

But with this Glamorous beauty, I need not have worried, it fit beautifully and I felt like I belonged at Studio 54 whilst wearing it. Just give me an afro wig, some novelty sunnies and the goldfish platforms and I'm good to go!

Jumpsuits are definitely by clothing of choice for the moment, what items of clothing are you crushing on right now?

  1. I'm really looking forward to reading about your experience with mental illness! I think the more people talk about it, the more people learn and ignorance is reduced. Also, I absolutely love this jumpsuit - it suits you so much :) xxx

  2. Wow this looks so good on you. I recently bought my first ever jumpsuit from Primark and I love it so much. Took me a while to find one that flattered but it was worth the wait :)

  3. I've been planning on making a blog post about my disorder too, but I'm not sure how people might react to it :D I would love it so much to read what you experienced. It's always incredibly comforting, to see someone else is fighting as well. ^_^
And you're a hot piece of cake in this jumpsuit! Love the white shoes!

  4. I find it so refreshing that you chose to share your feelings and write posts that are more personal Gems. It really shows how much other girls (myself including) can relate to you! If you ever need anyone to talk to, same goes for you, you can always email me if you ever feel the need!

You look so cute in this jumpsuit, I really wish I could pull these off! Hahahaha I have a similar problem with my bum, I have small upper body and then my ass and thighs are just like BOOM. It's so hard to find jeans that fit nice, if they fit my butt, then they're too big on my waist haha :) I really wish I could lose weight ONLY from my butt, but my boobs are always the first ones to go LOL. You look so tiny though! I'm in love with this pattern and the color, too. Looks absolutely amazing on you, and your jacket is to die for!

  5. Your honesty is so refreshing when it comes to talking about mental illness so I'm sure these posts are going to help many people...both those going through it and those who perhaps have little understanding of it. Your last post made me sad for you having to go through so much, I wasn't feeling sad for myself at all if you were worried about that :) like you I'm turning those experiences into positives!

Anyway, this playsuit is amazing! What a fab find, I never find any goodies on eBay x

  6. It's really amazing that you share your feelings about mental illness. I feel that people should never be ashamed of that and should be open about it because it can help so many other people. <3

I love this jumpsuit! You look amazing in it! Seriously looking like a model! Honestly, I wish I looked good in jumpsuits, but I think I look a bit weird in them.

That's so cool you took a jumpsuit that didn't quite fit right and turned it into pants and a crop top! So creative. Wish I was good with sewing. :)

  9. I love that pattern. I think, some jumpsuits are ridiculous to get in and out of. I have trouble getting most past my boobs.

  10. I think mental illness affects so many people now but you think you are the only person with it. I always feel everyone else around me is normal and I am odd but actually most people have issues with things. I struggle with bad panic attacks in fact my doctor says that manage to function quite well even though I suffer with a lot of anxeity and panic. I have always thought I was not pretty enough or not good enough and its so depressing, I would love to read more from you on this subject x BTW you look gorgeous in that outfit x
